2009년에 미란다 줄라이Miranda July의 소설 번역가 자격으로 참여했던 저는 앞으로 더욱 많은 가능성있는 젊은 예술가들이 이곳에 와서 영감과 재능을 펼치고 더 넓은 예술세계로 나아가는 계기로 삼았으면 하는 마음에

한국이사가 되었습니다. 외국 체류경험이 적은 소설가 작가 번역가분들의 많은 지원및 문의바랍니다. 

Art Omi gives you free airfares, excellent foods prepared by cooks, a private room for up to 2 months in Upstate New York and opportunities to get connected with fellow artists from all over the world. As an alumni, I became the board member of Art Omi for translators and writers’ residence program in 2021 for the purpose of getting more Korean applicants for the program and working in-between any Korean literature related entities or organizations. I hope young, hungry(time, money, space whatsoever)and unheard artists from Korea to apply for it and get the benefits!
